Difference Amplifier

Overview:
  In this assignment, we implement a simple operational amplifier-based circuit. Since operational amplifiers are used commonly in circuits used to implement mathematical operations, we implement the process of taking the difference between two voltages.




The theoretical Vo for this circuit is Vo=Vb-Va



Data collection




From the data we collected, the equation is confirmed, the error is mostly caused by the uncertainty of the resistance we use.

In this assignment, we will use mesh analysis to predict the circuit behavior prior to building and testing the circuit. We will then compare the measured circuit response with our expectations based on our analysis. Based on calculation, we get V1=-2.2v and I1=-321mA Since we chose a wrong resistance for 20k oms, we did not get the value data for the measurement, We cannot get the conclude for the circuit in mash analysis in this case.
