Inverting Voltage Amplifier


In this assignment, we implement a simple operational amplifier-based circuit. Since operational amplifiers are used commonly in circuits used to implement mathematical operations, we implement the processes of multiplication by a negative constant.



R1=10 kΩ
R2= 20 kΩ

Vo/Vi=-R2/R1=-2


Data collection


The ratio is -1.93 which is close to -2 we calculated. The error may caused by the uncertainty of the resistant and the power lose by the op amp.

We will then compare the measured circuit response with our expectations based on our analysis. Based on calculation, we get V1=-2.2v and I1=-321mA Since we chose a wrong resistance for 20k oms, we did not get the value data for the measurement, We cannot get the conclude for the circuit in mash analysis in this case.
